Description : Madonna orante

Oil on canvas applied on board. Another painting that had been attributed to the same pareson, had gone to audition in Schlosser on 23/03/2009. Sirani was born in Bologna and had been Guido Reni's student but later got in touch with the Bolognese pictorial school leaded by paiters as Guercino or Albani and he moved away from his teacher's style choosing a more marked use of color. The small painting comes with frame.
