Description : Sacra famiglia con San Giovannino

Oil on canvas. Signed Dion. Calvaert and the date 1605 in Roman numerals bottom right. The same painting has been up for a Finarte auction in 2000, with attribution to Calvaert: even if it's a good hand and very close to the style of the Late Mannerist Flemish artist, the attribution is not certain. It is still a piece of fine workmanship and execution. Recanvased and restored, presented in antique frame.
